High Adventure with Harold ::
What an amazing adventure all 22 of us had in Colorado this year! Twelve of our participants reached the top of Mount Yale which was 14,106 ft. The backpacking, whitewater rafting, camping, and “mountain” food all made this trip very memorable. The adventure continued on our way home as we had an unexpected sleepover night in Clayton, New Mexico due to the bus breaking down. God is good - All the time - God is good. We absolutely experienced His goodness as the mechanic fixed the bus and First United Methodist of Clayton took us in for the night. There is never a dull moment with Harold!
No Youth Group– August 24 ::
Since school begins on Monday, August 25, we know everyone will be busy getting ready for that exciting first day back so we have decided to cancel Youth Group on that Sunday.
Youth Group – Snack Supper & Small Groups - September 7 ::
We hope to see everyone back for small groups beginning Sunday, September 7. We’ll begin with Snack Supper again that evening so don’t forget to bring your $3 if you plan on eating!
Sunday School ::
Now that summer break is over and school has begun it’s time to start gearing up for a new year in iGnite Youth Ministry. We would like to invite all 7-12 grade youth to join us for Sunday school as we begin our series study on the Book of James. At 9:30am we have two classes – one for 7-9 grades in the TV room and one for 10-12 grades in the loft. At 11am we offer four classes – grade 7 in 220, grade 8 in the TV room, grades 9-10 in 200, and grades 11-12 in the loft.
See You at the Pole – September 24 ::
We hope you will participate in your school’s See You at the Pole morning on Wednesday, September 24. Find out from your school what time this event will take place. GATHER at your school flagpole. PRAY for your school, friends, families, and world. CONNECT. Listen as He speaks to you. New Information Forms ::
You should be receiving our 2008-09 new blue information forms in the mail soon. Please fill out completely and return to the Youth Office as soon as possible. Just like the school district we need you to fill out a new one each year. If a copy of your child’s current insurance card is on file we will not need another copy. If you are not sure if it is on file please contact our office.
