Greeters

Greeters welcome everyone who enters a church service at Clear lake United Methodist Church (CLUMC). Each greeter is part of a team on Sunday morning who makes all who enter, especially First Time Attendees, feel like an honored guest. They are essential for our church to fulfill our vision – “Welcoming seekers of the faith.”

CLUMC greeters before the Contemporary and Traditional services. They greet people, answer questions, and may escort visitors to their destinations. When first time visitors are identified, they are introduced to an inside greeter and usher who can show them to a seat.

Volunteers are needed to serve at least one service one Sunday a month (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th), and leaders will ask greeters to serve on fifth Sundays. If greeters are unable to serve on their scheduled Sunday, they may call or email Annette Johnson at 281-488-5111, x140 so that another can serve.
