We are delighted to announce that Annette Johnson has joined the Clear Lake United Methodist Church staff as the Congregational Life Coordinator. Annette and her husband Kevin are new to Texas relocating from Florida in August 2007. She and Kevin have been married for almost 6 years and are the proud parents of 4 year old Seamus, and 2 year old Julianna. They recently discovered that a third child is due in November.
      Since joining Clear Lake United Methodist Church in September 2007, both Kevin and Annette have been very active in church ministries. Kevin is active in Youth ministry and has begun his candidacy to become an Elder in the United Methodist Church. You may see Kevin assisting Tony in the traditional worship services the next few weeks while Harold and Lillie are teaching Bible Study. Annette is active in the Mother’s Day Out program, and enjoys singing and theater. One of her passions is community theater - especially musicals.
      As the Congregational Life Coordinator, Annette works under the supervision of Rev. Lillie Ferrell, Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Lay Ministry and provides administrative support to her. Annette will be responsible for scheduling and documenting church events, maintaining the church calendar, coordinating Big Events with staff and congregants. She will encourage all CLUMC members to serve in Lay ministry by offering spiritual gifts assessments to assist them. She is also responsible for developing a process of member assimilation that enables newcomers to become integrated into the life, membership and ministries of the church. Therefore, expect Annette to give you a call one evening to become acquainted with you and your gifts and graces and to encourage you to stay connected to our church family.
