Welcome!
    Welcome to CLUMC Preschool & MDO. We offer a quality Christian based education that is based upon the developmental needs of children ages 3 months to 5 years. We believe that children are our most important resource. We believe that each child is a unique individual worthy of love, respect and guidance. We thank you for allowing us to share with you in providing for the care, loving and nurturing of your child. All of us here look forward to being of service to you and your child.

Our Mission:
  We provide an atmosphere of Christian love where children can grow physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The program shall provide quality childcare with an emphasis on the needs of the individual child. Our purpose is to be an inviting family of Christian believers seeking to help people and children experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to worship God, introduce and study the Bible, grow in faith, nurture each child, reach out to others and serve the children and families of the church and community. Each child is helped to experience success at an appropriate level of maturity and is given the opportunity to learn and grow in new activities and experiences.

Our Purpose:
   Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere of Christian love where children can grow physically, mentally and spiritually. Our program emphasizes tender loving care to all children. We provide an opportunity for children to play and learn with others their own age. We engage children in developmentally appropriate learning activities that are fun, interesting, and spark their curiosities. We provide a warm, loving, positive environment that encourages children to be confident in themselves and that serves as a base to build lifelong learning skills.

MDO Ages: 3 months - 3 years
Preschool Ages: 3 - 5 years

Operates:
August - May
(We follow CCISD Calendar)

Registration/Supplies Fee:
$125.00 per child
A completed registration form and the non-refundable registration fee are required to secure enrollment in the program.

Your child may attend 2, 3, or 5 days a week, depending on availability

Monthly Tuition:
2 Days = $160.00
3 Days = $220.00
5 Days = $320.00
Monday and Friday only = $120.00*
 *Discount due to the number of holidays/days off that fall on Mondays and Fridays.

Tuition is collected on the first of every month.  Any payment received after the 10th will incur a late fee.  There are no make-ups, substitutions, or credits for days missed.

Classes are open to any child regardless of race or religious beliefs, provided the school can meet the child's needs.

Our Curriculum:
We follow the Pinnacle Faith-Based Curriculum.  It is center-based and hands-on. 

General Information:
A daily snack is provided.  You must provide a lunch consisting of finger foods and a drink and/or baby food and bottles as needed.
  • PLEASE label every item your child brings to school.
  • You must supply enough diapers for each day.
  • Please pack a complete change of clothing in your child's back-pack each day.
  • A waterproof (vinyl) or washable nap mat is required for all napping children.

  • Chapel daily (Preschool only)
  • Spanish lessons twice a week
  • Science lessons twice a week
  • Music and Exercise daily
  • Story telling daily
  • Outdoor/Indoor play daily
  • Centers, arts and crafts daily
Licensing:
Clear Lake United Methodist Church Preschool and Mother’s Day Out meets or exceeds all Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Licensing Standards. [ http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/ ]
