Purpose:
Nursery & Preschool Ministry
Description:
Children are our special responsibility, entrusted to our care by God. The church is meant to be a place where they can grow in body, mind, and spirit; a place where they can meet Christ and be nurtured in a growing, life-giving faith. The goal of the Nursery Ministry is to provide a safe, loving and fun environment for the youngest members of our church while the parents are able to pursue their faith development.
Sunday Mornings:
Nursery care is provided for all children from infants to toddlers during all six services and Sunday School hours. Please stop by the information desk to find out what class best fits your child, upon arriving in your child’s classroom you will fill out a 2-part sticker. ½ of the sticker will be placed upon your child’s back and the other ½ will stay with you. This is your “claim tag” which MUST be shown in order to pick your child up. NO child under school-age will be released without a claim tag. This procedure is for the safety and security of your child. If your claim tag is lost or damaged you must speak to a children’s ministry staff person. Classroom teachers do not have authority to release children without a claim tag. Please pick up your child promptly after the end of your service/class.
