• A Ring and A Prayer is an interactive time to intercede on behalf of married couples (or your own spouse). Led by Peta and Bryan Dudley in the Great Hall from 5:30-6pm (will not meet on 10/11, back on 10/25)
• Children: 6 months - 5th Grade
• Cost: $5 per/child with a $10 maximum
• Payment Deadline: Thursday, before the Saturday at 3pm
• Limited space per age

Come Have a Bagel Breakfast!!
Sunday, October 12 ::
Come Have a Bagel Breakfast!! Join Children’s Ministry on the second Sunday each month (October 12) for a Bagel Breakfast, we will be serving bagels, cream cheese, and juice. All proceeds will go to help fund our various programs. This month the proceeds will support the Fall Festival!

Trunk or Treat -
Friday, October 31 ::
Come join us at our annual Fall Event on Friday, October 31 from 6-7:30pm in the church parking lot. Decorate your car and bring treats to hand out to our community. The church will provide a hot dog supper and drinks. Cars will start lining up in the parking lot from 5-6pm with trunks full of goodies and games. Children go trunk to trunk in their costumes to collect their treats. If you are not able to attend, but would like to donate individually wrapped treats, you may leave your donation in the boxes located in the Children’s Ministry Office and Flanders counter area.

Cake Walk at Trunk or Treat ::
We are having a Cake Walk again this year at Trunk or Treat. If you would like to donate a purchased cake (Kroger’s, Randall’s, Wal-Mart, etc), please bring it to the church kitchen on Friday, October 31 between 8:30am and 5pm. We need to fill two paid positions open on Sunday mornings. If you are interested contact Children's Ministry at or stop by the Children’s Ministry Office to pick up an application.

Let's teach them about God's love, so they may share it with the world! Join a Sunday School Teaching Team!

Have fun with the Foxes exploring God's world. Fox Class is for children who have turned 2 by September 1, 2008. 9:30 and 11am opportunities.

Every little Fish needs a "big" Fish to teach them about God's love! Fish Class is for children who have turned 3 by September 1, 2008. 11am opportunities.

Help "feed" the Giraffes, teach Sunday School. Giraffe Class is for children who have turned 4 by September 1, 2008. 9:30 and 11am opportunities

Join a TEAM of teachers in the Elementary Ages and help them grow in their faith. Here is a list of older TEAMS with opportunities available. Sign-up quickly and join a TEAM of Sunday School Teachers for the school year 2008-09.

9:30am needs:
First Grade (3 teachers);
Second Grade (4 teachers); and
Third Grade (2 teachers).

11am needs:
Second Grade (2 teachers)

Children's Christmas Eve Program ::
Any child (Kindergarten - Sixth Grade) interested in being a part of the Christmas Program on Wednesday, December 24 at 4pm, please contact Children’s Ministry at 281-488-5111, x123. Each year we tell the Christmas story through musical drama and puppetry. Our practices will be 10/16, 11/6, 11/13 & 12/4 from 7-8pm and Dress Rehearsal 12/20 from 10am-Noon.
